Wargrave is within easy reach of nearby parts of the M4 corridor, including Berkshire and London Heathrow Airport. The village is located on the A231 north-south road between Twyford and Henley-on-Thames.

The town has a train station between Twyford and Henley-on-Thames, or a short branch line off the Great Western Railway to/from London Paddington.

Keeping Busy in Wargrave

Dinton Pastures Country Park offers 450 acres of lakes, rivers, meadows, and woodland, which are perfect for exploring with the whole family, whilst the award winning adventure play space offers fun, excitement, and adventure for everyone. Once you’ve worked up a healthy appetite, pop into The St George & Dragon to refresh and refuel.

For more outdoor fun, the Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre will allow you to experience falconry and the unique bond between man and bird, whilst the Skiplex Indoor Ski Slope offers an adrenaline-fueled day of activity.

Other attractions in the area include the idyllic house and gardens of Grey’s Court, the River and Rowing Museum, and Forbury Gardens. With the area’s rich boating history, there are also plenty of opportunities to get on the open water and explore.
